Users can use the assistant directly in their feeds, chats and via the search function without having to leave the respective app.
\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]With the introduction of “Meta AI”, the company wants to compete with OpenAI and its ChatGPT. To this end, the new language model Llama 3 was released, which according to Meta is on a par with, if not superior to, other LLMs, especially for tasks such as programming.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]Meta has released two smaller versions of Llama 3, which are available for both Meta AI and developers. A larger, multimodal version of the model will be available in the coming weeks. Meta AI is gradually being rolled out worldwide<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]Meta AI is currently only available in the USA. However, Meta plans to offer the service in English in other countries such as Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe in the near future. Other countries and languages will follow. The assistant can already be used on Ray-Ban’s Meta Smart Glasses in the USA and will soon be available on the Meta Quest.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]With these innovations, Meta is strategically positioning itself as a leading player in the rapidly growing artificial intelligence market.
