kaisin. operates Poké Bowl restaurants and takeaways at several locations in Switzerland. Data on sales and operating costs is collected in different systems: in the POS system in the restaurants, at the delivery company, in purchasing, in human resources and in accounting. This makes it difficult to get a consolidated and up-to-date view of business performance.

Panter has developed a Business Intelligence solution for kaisin. that collects and aggregates data from a variety of sources and allows the analysis of the current business performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The solution consists of three components: an overnight service that queries the data via APIs, a data warehouse (BigQuery) that consolidates this data and enables efficient analysis, and a business intelligence dashboard that visualises the reports and KPIs to generate insights. The solution was deployed entirely in the Google Cloud. By using 100% serverless technologies, the cost of running the application is minimal. However, it is highly scalable and can handle any amount of data now and in the future.
